We're really excited to announce that we have been invited to sing at the beautiful Baumgartenberg Monastery in Austria, on August 21st this year, and are hoping to tie in a couple of other dates in the local area. We're premiering our Silver Baroque programme there which we think will work well in the building's beautiful acoustic. Silver Baroque is a really atmospheric programme of music on the theme of night. The word 'silvery' has always been associated with high, pure soprano voices, and also with the moon, so we've taken that concept as inspiration for this programme, which celebrates that purity and ethereal quality we're known for! We will be singing music by Handel, Purcell, Blow, Couperin and Monteverdi amongst others, as well as featuring poetry and solo instrumental music. We're aiming for a magical atmosphere by candlelight in this wonderful setting.
